I hope I can help you fix your problems with what grasp I do have on the subject haha.FL Studio 20 Full Beginners Course – Video Training Tutorials All I know is that I run FL through Voicemeeter ASIO and it works, and unfortunately yours isn't. I'm not much of a tinkerer with either program as I am merely a producer, so a lot of numbers and their meanings never meet my understanding. I don't exactly know how some of these operate specifically. Whenever I route FL to VoiceMeeter (by selecting VoiceMeeter as the active I/O audio device) I experience a massive amount. However I cant get it to work correctly with FL Studio. Not a setting, but might as well note- "OUT A1 Main Device" buf: 1024 I use VoiceMeeter Banana because I do a lot of recording and streaming via OBS and other multimedia software, it allows me to mix and route my audio in flexible ways. Play truncated notes on transport unchecked (First off, I still use FL 11, and as I said I don't use Banana) Not every setting I list is related to FL's relationship to Voicemeeter, but might as well list it just in case. Here's everything different between our setups. Just wondering if it could be causing my underruns. Would you expect this to be something else? I'll have to do some more reading on the differences and what they really mean. I'm not sure why WDM is being used, it might have been the default. VoiceMeeter allows me to choose WDM, KS, MME or ASIO as types for my main hardware output (the line out on my scarlett which is my speakers).

Could be indicative of an issue, but I do see the changes take effect in FL once I've made them in VoiceMeeter, so I didn't think much of it.įorgive me if this is technically off the topic of FL, but you mentioned the WDM drivers noted in my screenshot. In order to change that buffer size I need to do it within the VoiceMeeter settings. It might be worth mentioning that in FL when I click the big square button to 'show asio panel', nothing happens. Potentially stranger still is there no difference in cpu or memory usage on my machine when making those drastic buffer size adjustments.
I can crank the buffer size up past 2k samples (and conversely down to 128 samples) and the behavior is the same. Please see the screenshots below for my settings. To summarize: I want to route FL through VoiceMeeter so that it jives nicely with the rest of my audio "pipeline" so to speak, but I cannot without experiencing massive underruns in the application which make it unusable.

All the same I went through the image line manual and help docs about reducing underruns and improving performance (trying to get it to work with VoiceMeeter), but unfortunately nothing changes the behavior I get when sending to VoiceMeeter. Because when I set FL to my audio interfaces asio driver, it works beautifully as it always has. To be clear, this is a VoiceMeeter specific issue (and not a general FL or pc hardware issue). Whenever I route FL to VoiceMeeter (by selecting VoiceMeeter as the active I/O audio device) I experience a massive amount of underruns regardless of my buffer size and related settings. I use VoiceMeeter Banana because I do a lot of recording and streaming via OBS and other multimedia software, it allows me to mix and route my audio in flexible ways.
